Kate Hangac is an American playwright and screenwriter. She began her formal training in the Rita & Burton Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and completed her bachelor’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University with a major in English and Creative Writing: Screenwriting Concentrate.  Her work focuses on magic realism as well as the humor derived from not-so-everyday situations.

Kate is a proud member of The Dramatists Guild of America and The Drama League.
